You asked what I have to offer?

Well nothing much.

Few poetries, painted pots
and your sketches on
coffee dipped sheets.
Weird music, witty remarks
and book stores
of nearby streets.

Few jars of nutella,
breakfast dates,
And wind chimes
on your gates.

We both know
I’m not going to stay.
I promise not to leave
your world, pale and grey.

You’ll start to know metaphors
maybe fall for cliches too?
Love is not supposed to hurt
I will prove this to you.

I promise you’ll learn to go out,
whether it’s summer or snow.
Rain will stop stealing your smile,
I’ll teach you to paint rainbow.

Hello there, Kajal here! I started blogging in September, 2018. It was purely random as I needed a space to pour my heart and thoughts out. This place is like my safe heaven where I let my fingers and feelings run free to curate poems and to rant about things that are bothering my thoughts. My journey here has been bittersweet and wonderful at the same time. But because of all the love I receive here, I keep coming back to read and to write. You all have been great support and advicers to me and I'm really grateful. Your feedback, emails and comments keep the mermaid inside me going :)

Everybody has something to offer.

“Few poetries, painted pots
and your sketches on

Weird music,…”

But should it necessarily continue lifelong or could few moments be enough to stay with you for life? Both ways the receiver is enriched.

Intimate relationships can and usually are difficult to maintain. The big question is are the two in one willing to put in the work and lasting commitment. Your work often touches on or even revolves around this difficult paradox of romantic love. Are you a romantic or an idealist? Maybe both I ponder. Ah yes, mermaids and butterflies have secrets too!

Kajal, so very true because even the sour grapes teach us how much more valuable and precious the sweet ones are; and my Dad taught me as a young man, when things go wrong we must accept the reality sometimes they do; then its how me move forward and make the best of it. To me that is what builds character!
I saw the comment you made about having secrets but then it vanished? Back to secret land? So now the idea of having a secret is a secret too! I like that, kind of cute. The secret almost got away! 😉
PS eventually all secrets come out of hiding!

Ha, ha, ha, yes it seems to hide well, perhaps testing the water to reveal itself; but not to worry it might show up again when least expected! Secrets can do that you know! It could just be shy or has some fear to overcome which is only natural. I wish it luck! 😁
