I was devastated
when he asked me to leave,
A proclamation,
really hard to believe.
After giving me the sky,
he cut off my wings,
I never thought,
things would be, just things.
Not that I am afraid
of being alone,
But can’t believe
a heart can be, just stone.
Of course we were different,
He came here, just to roam.
I got bewitched with magic,
Misunderstood him as home.

You’re free to roam, build new wings, explore new skies. It’s just a matter of thought, believe me, you can fly.😎

I don’t believe I could say anything better than some of the other comments here. Mine was a she and the ride was great while we stayed on the tracks but once we derailed she left with few words and it seemed no feeling at all.

Beautifully written and honest. The use of rhyme scheme is greatly appreciated in a world full of easier and lesser prose.
