This constant pressure someone feeling that they are entitled to talk to you daily can be draining ( and can break the bonds too). When going through things, the most creative people can also run out of words and the answer to every question can be nothing more than “okay”.
We keep checking on people , which is a good thing, indeed. But too much care can be toxic too. If everybody starts with “How are you today?” then what else can someone say other than ” I’m fine”.
On some days the best thing we can do for others is to just listen or just be there in silence or just give them the space. Because sometimes, the best thing we can do for others is not to do anything.

🙂. Agree, you can often tell how somebody is through their conversation. And you have to give a certain amount of trust at some point that they’ll tell you if something’s really bad. And also not feeling pressure that you’re going to wake up with messages you need to reply to is important. Let the person be themselves 🙂. 💙

Kajal! Very good point, and I think too what you say here is people are often going through the motions! In my mind it’s sort of being machines or almost programmed robots that follow a particular social custom or stay in the same old groove repeating the same things over and over until its monotonous to perhaps making it all seem pointless. Life really isn’t easy regardless of how easier technology has made it for us with all of this convenience so much different than when people had to bust their butts to just get the basic to eat and live safely protected from the elements. But, the cost of this convenience has been enormous, actually altering our natural behaviors and happiness or joy to live and replaced it with worry and drudgery about things that are basically meaningless to us and less human. I think you feel that emptiness that I feel at times too, and it is annoying or a turn off making us want to be left alone or just hide from the world that seems to be increasingly becoming an alien and unfriendly dangerous place. It’s all still worth giving some serious thought about it, and maybe there will be some better answers to come, we can at least hope so! Meanwhile your idea is well taken to; let them be! Thank you for getting me thinking about this. I wonder if greeting another person with what’s on your mind, or would you like some help with anything; could shift gears in our interactions in life?
God Bless.

True , social media has increased connectivity but that doesn’t mean we have to be connected all the time. Personal space and peace is important for growth; sometimes we have to be there but in silence😊

Oft times as an artistic person, just knowing, however personally and silently that someone is there being patient in a loving and supportive way can make all the difference in not feeling alone and our eccentricism is accepted and most importantly…understood. I hope you are continuing to do well and be happy my friend. Lets just be ourselves with one another and leave all the pretentiousness- for self-absorbed fools to bath in.

I had wondered when someone was going to say this very thing. It is palatable and in the air. Also the expression, although well meant, “stay safe “ is making me feel nauseous. Is it just me?
Thank you for your blog post today ❤️

Some of my best friends are people that I don’t see very often but when I do I can tell them just about anything. It doesn’t matter if it’s been a day or a month, or a couple of years. We just pick up where we left off. :) <3

I tend to get too chatty because I’m lonely and insecure. I know it backfires on me. I get depressed. It’s a cycle. I’m personally not very outgoing. But in the end, I’m the kindest person one would ever know. But I am alone and don’t see much hope for my future.

I have started being intentional of whom I talk to and why we are having a conversation at all. Honestly talking requires a lot of energy for me and I agree with letting people be.
