It’s almost dawn and like any other day;
I am looking for something to hold on to.
A popular and supposingly brilliant quote “you find happiness when you look for it” is here again but I feel like I’m done.
How can I look for happiness when all I feel and see is my failing attempts to understand it? How do I define something I have never experienced?
The weather is as confused as I am. Sun is yet to set but it’s too cold for April. Trees are leaf-less yet flowers are ready to bloom. They said spring is early this time,
but what is spring?
How do we know what rain is, when it’s raining? How is downpour so precise?
Where do all these seasons come from? Are wants seasons?

Awesome post. Sometimes emotion don’t speak or question rhetorically, yet they long until they’ve been answered wholly by the unexpected experience, of that enlighten season of bliss that has always been missing.

Ohh! Sorry, you’ve told me that before. I just guessed UK because the time you posted it was perfectly timed for my sunrise, and I couldn’t quite tell from the tree 😆.
Difficult times over there :\. 💙

More correctly, happiness will elude the one who looks for it. Like a butterfly, it does not want our attention, but if we look at other things, like the beauty of the flowers, the butterfly will come and land on our hands.
Look for peace, faith and love. Focus on being a person of peace, trusting God the Father to watch over your steps, sharing what is good for others, and giving of yourself as Jesus did, and you will find joy and happiness even before a crucifixion (John 17:13-21).

This is so accurate! More we look for happiness, more we keep loosing it.

It’s true, that the more we look for happiness, the more elusive it is. But if we look for Truth and find it in Jesus (“the Way, the Truth, and the Life”) we find happiness in Him. At least that;s been my experience.
