How do you manage to keep going
without the urge to throw yourself
away?
How does it feel like hearing everything
but your own heart?
Does it really get better with time?
Do layers of skin mange to cover it all?
Tell me how you escaped the pit
of rusty flowers decorating
humnae need of art,
Is there a way to escape your shadow?
Have you made peace with it all?
Deep down, in your heart
does it shine bright like the day?
Or is it pretty like the sky?
If you smiled bright
and visited be places
Would it matter?
Tell me,
Does it get better?
Tell me,
Is there any way out?

I don’t know if it gets better but the hope that it does, keeps me going! Very well written! 👍

Yes, but there is only one way out, and your priorities will define how well you lived love and life through your journey … before your time runs out. Faith I’ll find that one connection that offers me a lifetime of happiness found in but a few stolen moments from time, keeps me motivated. Be blessed with all you desire my dear, Mermaid.

Thus says the Lord:
“In a time of favor I have answered you;
in a day of salvation I have helped you;
I will keep you and give you as a covenant to the people,
to establish the land, to apportion the desolate heritages,
saying to the prisoners, ‘Come out,’
to those who are in darkness, ‘Appear.’
They shall feed along the ways; on all bare heights shall be their pasture;
they shall not hunger or thirst, neither scorching wind nor sun shall strike them,
for he who has pity on them will lead them, and by springs of water will guide them.”
Isaiah 49:8-10

I don’t don’t know if it gets better , it’s more of chaos management through magic for me and poetry is my magic, magic through words, that empower me and words that banish all the ills I want out of my life.
